Elly Herrmann

Elly G. Herrmann, 100, of Scottsdale, Ariz., passed away Saturday, June 20, 2009. She was born Feb. 3, 1909, in Berlin to George and Agnes Habermann. She came to the United States in 1925. She married Arthur A. Herrmann on April 27, 1935, in Springfield, Mo. They moved to Cape Girardeau in 1937. Mr. Herrmann passed away in May 1988...

Elly G. Herrmann, 100, of Scottsdale, Ariz., passed away Saturday, June 20, 2009.

She was born Feb. 3, 1909, in Berlin to George and Agnes Habermann. She came to the United States in 1925. She married Arthur A. Herrmann on April 27, 1935, in Springfield, Mo. They moved to Cape Girardeau in 1937. Mr. Herrmann passed away in May 1988.

Elly moved to Scottsdale in 2000 from Cape Girardeau.

She is survived by two children, Joan (Pyrtle) Seabaugh of Cave Creek, Ariz., Dennis (Sue) Herrmann of Creve Coeur, Mo.; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Seabaugh (Kathy) of Scottsdale, Matthew Herrmann (Heather) of Centerville, Ind., Ann Herrmann of Lawrence, Kan.; four great-grandchildren, Colton and Taylor Seabaugh of Scottsdale, and Hannah and Abby Herrmann of Centerville.

A private service will be held at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
