ELMER LEE BELL
TAMMS, Ill. -- Elmer Lee Bell, 86, of Tamms, Ill., died Friday, July 29, 1994 at his residence. He was born Feb. 26, 1908 in Morley, Mo., son of Joseph Wesley and Lona Elizabeth Whitehead Bell. On Sept. 22, 1928, he married Beatrice Elizabeth Kneezle, who preceded him in death...TAMMS, Ill. -- Elmer Lee Bell, 86, of Tamms, Ill., died Friday, July 29, 1994 at his residence.
He was born Feb. 26, 1908 in Morley, Mo., son of Joseph Wesley and Lona Elizabeth Whitehead Bell.
On Sept. 22, 1928, he married Beatrice Elizabeth Kneezle, who preceded him in death.
He was employed as a custodian at the Ruma Convent.

He is survived by one daughter, Maudie Mae Shrodes, Dupo, Ill.; and one sister, Marie Huntsman, Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
One son, one brother and one grandchild preceded him in death.
Friends may call Sunday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 5 p.m.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. William Dickey officiating. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery in Morley.
