JACKSON, Mo. -- Emma Marie Anderson, 79, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 23, 1922, at St. Charles, Mo., daughter of James Ebert and Nettie Croquart Anderson.
Anderson was a beautician more than 25 years in Hartford, Ill. She then went into the ministry with the Assembly of God Church in Ensley, Fla. She served in Florida and other states in the south until retiring and moving to Jackson. She then continued her ministry and authored two books.
She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Jackson.
Survivors include a niece, Sherry Hampton of Perryville, Mo., and a nephew, Floyd Anderson of Bethalto, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 9-11 a.m. Friday.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Edsel Lackey officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
