ANNA, Ill. -- Erline Williams, 85, of Anna died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2001, at her home. She was born Nov. 27, 1915, in Anna, daughter of James Richmond and Rachel Louise Peery Brown. She and Rufus Darwin Williams were married Nov. 1, 1936. He died March 8, 2001...

ANNA, Ill. -- Erline Williams, 85, of Anna died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2001, at her home.

She was born Nov. 27, 1915, in Anna, daughter of James Richmond and Rachel Louise Peery Brown. She and Rufus Darwin Williams were married Nov. 1, 1936. He died March 8, 2001.

Williams was a member of Jonesboro Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include four sons, Bruce Williams of New Douglas, Ill., Harold and Billy Max Williams of Anna, Michael Williams of Dongola, Ill.; two daughters, Patricia Williams of Anna, Sherry Parr of Dongola; a brother, James Brown of Littleton, Colo.; 19 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Paul Sadler will officiate. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
