EAST PRAIRIE -- Graveside service for Erma Davenport of New Madrid will be held at 11 a.m. today at IOOF Cemetery, with Raymond Grimes officiating.

Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.

Davenport, 90, died Wednesday, April 15, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 11, 1907, in Dyersburg, Tenn., daughter of Tom and Laura Long.

Davenport lived in Mississippi County most of her life.

Survivors include two sons, A.J. Davenport of Henley, Sheaffer Davenport of Eldon; two daughters, Lorene McMinn of East Prairie, Lillian Lawson of Lilbourn; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons and four brothers.
