Ernestine Swader

Ernestine Swader, 69, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at Southeast Hospital.

She was born Jan. 18, 1948, in Hermandale, Missouri, to Ernest James and Mabel Bingham Noel. She and Larry Swader were married Jan. 28, 1963, at Cape Girardeau.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Ernestine worked for Florsheim Shoe factory in Cape Girardeau for 28 years.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Swader of Cape Girardeau; her son, Rickey (Cyndi) Swader of Cape Girardeau; daughter, Rene Swader of Cape Girardeau; brothers, Larry Noel of Cape Girardeau, James Noel of Jackson and Roger Noel of Cape Girardeau; sister, Betty Stickel of Cape Girardeau; grandchildren, Amber Swader, Danielle Swader and Deven Harris; and great-grandchildren, Ryan Swader, Alexis Swader and Amari Wade.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Nickey Swader; brother, McArthur Noel; granddaughter, Portia Harris; and great-grandson, Cameron Swader.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Willie Williams officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to Ford and Sons Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
