CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Ethel Louise Cannon, 91, of Chaffee died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 25, 1917, at Poplar Bluff, Mo, daughter of Willie Edward and Cynthia Margarite Crittenden Jeffries. She and Elmer Andrew Cannon were married May 4, 1935. He died May 9, 2001.
Cannon retired as parts supervisor at Borg-Warner Inc. in Manchester, Mo. She was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church in Maplewood, Mo.
Survivors include three sons, Royce Cannon of San Antonio, Texas, W.M. "Bill" Cannon of Chaffee, Timothy Cannon of Barnhart, Mo.; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son and a sister.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Vyron Young officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
