Funeral for Eugene Frazier of Cape Girardeau will be held at 11 a.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Don Stephens will officiate. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery at Morley.

Frazier, 75, died Sunday, April 4, 1999, at his home.

He was born June 7, 1923, at Portageville, son of Dock and Leona Kingston Frazier. He married Gladys Hahn Dec. 27, 1944, in Fort Riley, Kan.

Frazier was employed at Superior Electric from 1946 to 1950. He then went to work at the Missouri Utilities Power Plant, and later was an operator at the water plant. He retired in 1987.He was a member of Red Star Baptist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Electrical Workers Local 701. He served in the Philippines during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Eugene Frazier Jr. and Stephen Frazier of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Lois Moon of Troy, Sharon Woodard of Rolla, Connie Wilson of Burfordville; three sisters, Louvena Lynn of Chaffee, Lois Busby of Millersville, Minnie Dietiker of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by two half brothers, four brothers, and two sisters.
