Evelyn E. Boswell, 88, 2743 Caufield, died Friday, Aug. 16, 1996, at her home.

She was born Feb. 4, 1908, at Mill Creek, Ill., daughter of George W. and Alice B. Davis Cauble. She and Thomas Edward "Buss" Boswell were married June 11, 1927, in Cape Girardeau. He died March 7, 1987.

Boswell was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and Rodney Vista Homemakers.

Survivors include a son, Richard Boswell of St. Charles; two daughters, Joyce Ludwig of Cape Girardeau, Madge McCall of Centralia, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-7 p.m. today.

Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Fairmount Cemetery. A grandson, the Rev. David Boswell, will officiate.
