Mayfield died Saturday, Aug. 10, 1996.

She married Charles E. Mayfield, formerly of Patton.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Clarence Richards of St. Louis; three sisters, Myrtle Wright of Bonne Terre, Jewel Britton of Steelville, Hallie Evans; two brothers, Charles Usery of St. Louis, Harry Huitt; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
