JONESBORO, Ill. -- Floyd L. Cline, 82, of Jonesboro died Saturday, April 10, 2004, at the Union County Hospital.
He was born March 8, 1922, at Granite City, Ill., son of William O. and Mary T. Hinkle Cline. He and Hazel Schlenker were married April 24, 1954, at Cornith, Miss.
Cline worked as a health technician at a state hospital. He was a member of the Anna Heights Baptist Church. Cline served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Beverly Graham of High Ridge, Mo.; two sisters, Violet Mayberry of Anna and Elsie Jones of St. Louis; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hileman Funeral Home.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Wilkins officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, with graveside military rites conducted by VFW Post 3455.
