Frances Marietta Wren, 75, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at her home, surrounded by family.

She was born July 6, 1945 in Arbor, Missouri, to the late Edward Oliver and Clora Frances Dees Mouser. Marietta and Winferd Wren were married Feb. 23, 1963, in Chaffee, Missouri.

Marietta enjoyed cooking, gardening and piano playing. She graduated from Delta High School in 1963. She served the Lord in many capacities as a pastor's wife since Jan. 13, 1980.

Loving survivors include her husband, the Rev. Winferd Wren of Cape Girardeau; sons, Mark (Traci), Scott (Marie) and Shawn (Dana) Wren; daughter, Theresa Wren (Tim) Zumwalt; brother, Jerry (Marshia) Mouser of Paducah, Kentucky; sister, Norma Mouser Goetz of Fenton, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert C. Mouser, Billie E. Mouser, Truman O. Mouser and Gary D. Mouser; and sister, M. Bernice Mouser Walton.

Funeral was held Friday at North Side Gospel Assembly, with the Rev. Bradley Miller officiating.

Burial followed at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to North Side Gospel Assembly.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home handled arrangements.
