SIKESTON -- Francis Thurman Randell, 77, of Sikeston, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 1992, at Hunter Acres Caring Center here.
He was born Oct. 23, 1914, at Wardell, son of Eddie Allen and Martha Frields Randell. He and Edith Louise Herren were married Nov. 9, 1960, at Benton.
Randell was a maintenance man at Elkhart Products in Elkhart, Ind. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Gary Randell of High Ridge; two daughters, Betty Hardin of Sikeston, Frances Miller of Blue Springs; three stepsons, Billy Vaughn of New York, James Vaughn of Portageville, Dennis Tabor of state of Texas; a stepdaughter, Shirley Jordan of Bertrand; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and seven stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Cline Ables will officiate, with burial in a Wardell cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until service time.
