JACKSON -- Funeral service for Frank Delph of Jackson will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Calvary United Pentecostal Church. The Revs. Ronnie Brown, Robert Smithey and Gracie Newell will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Delph, 95, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Sept. 30, 1898, near Oak Ridge, son of Emery and Betty Davenport Delph. He and Nola Gilliland were married April 28, 1924.
Delph worked for Byrd Road Township and then farmed, retiring in 1977 and moving to Jackson from his farm near Millersville. He was a member of Calvary Church.
Survivors include a brother, Browning Delph of Jackson, and a sister, Loretta Clippard of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
