CHAFFEE -- Fred Jobe, 73, of Chaffee died Monday, Feb. 15, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born Feb. 19, 1925, at Catron, son of Fred and Nettie Leona Byers Jobe. He and Margery White were married June 7, 1943. Jobe retired as a machine operator with Missouri Petroleum Co. in St. Louis. He was a member of General Baptist Church at Chaffee...

CHAFFEE -- Fred Jobe, 73, of Chaffee died Monday, Feb. 15, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 19, 1925, at Catron, son of Fred and Nettie Leona Byers Jobe. He and Margery White were married June 7, 1943.

Jobe retired as a machine operator with Missouri Petroleum Co. in St. Louis. He was a member of General Baptist Church at Chaffee.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, James, Mike and Bill Jobe, all of Chaffee; two daughters, Sue Rinehart and Gail Ing of Chaffee; a brother, Harold Jobe of Dover, Del.; a sister, Della Heath of Oil City, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by six brothers.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Joe Payne officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
