Freda Opal Nall, 100, of Cape Girardeau passed away Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at her home.
She was born June 21, 1917, at Sank, Missouri, the daughter of John Monroe and Vallie Shell Null.
Freda worked as a respiratory therapist at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for 21 years.
She believed in the Baptist faith. She enjoyed music, dancing, bowling, family gatherings, fishing and, in later years, became a St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Freda and Samuel "Jack" Nall were united in marriage Nov. 1, 1935, at Marble Hill, Missouri, and he preceded her in death Jan. 12, 1999.
Survivors include two son, Zane Nall and Jerry "Deter" Nall, both of Zalma, Missouri; three daughters, Janet Delores of Cape Girardeau, Donna Masterson of Bardstown, Kentucky, and Diane Smith of Cape Girardeau; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers and five sisters.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, Missouri.
A funeral service will be held at noon Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Eric Shrum officiating. Burial will follow at Bollinger County Memorial Park in Marble Hill.
