ADVANCE -- Freeda F. Ladd, 79, of Advance died Thursday, May 13, 1999, at Advance Nursing Center. She was born Sept. 22, 1919, near Greenbrier, daughter of Charles and Bea Baker Hindman. She and Lacy Ladd were married Dec. 24, 1941, near Advance. He died March 7, 1996...

ADVANCE -- Freeda F. Ladd, 79, of Advance died Thursday, May 13, 1999, at Advance Nursing Center.

She was born Sept. 22, 1919, near Greenbrier, daughter of Charles and Bea Baker Hindman. She and Lacy Ladd were married Dec. 24, 1941, near Advance. He died March 7, 1996.

Ladd was a member of Ladd Chapel General Baptist Church near Greenbrier and attended Independent Fellowship Church in Advance.

Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Price of Advance; and a sister, Myrl Ladd of Marble Hill.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Wayne Page and Keith Price will officiate. Burial will be in Balch Cemetery at Zalma.
