TAMMS, Ill. -- Frieda Ermal Dickerson Anderson, 83, of McClure, Ill., died Sunday, April 27, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born Feb. 23, 1920, in Delta, Ill., daughter of William B. and Bertha A. Hutchison Dickerson. She and Edward Dwain Anderson were married Sept. 4, 1940. He died Jan. 14, 1988...

TAMMS, Ill. -- Frieda Ermal Dickerson Anderson, 83, of McClure, Ill., died Sunday, April 27, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 23, 1920, in Delta, Ill., daughter of William B. and Bertha A. Hutchison Dickerson. She and Edward Dwain Anderson were married Sept. 4, 1940. He died Jan. 14, 1988.

Survivors include a daughter, Bernell Abercrombie of Tamms; four sons, Larry Anderson of Anna, Ill., Clinton Anderson of Percy, Ill., Lynn and David Anderson of McClure; a sister, Betty McDermott of Mill Creek, Ill.; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchhildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, a sister and two brothers.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Revs. Earnest Brown and Raymond Oxford officiating. Burial will follow in Cummins Cemetery.
