Gary Roth, 68, of Jackson died Sunday, June 30, 2019, at his home.

He was born July 17, 1950, in Cape Girardeau to Vernon and Miriam Keesee Roth Sr. He and Jan Yancey were married July 11, 1986, at Cape Girardeau.

Gary was a 1968 graduate of University High School.

He served in the National Guard.

He was a member of Maple United Methodist Church.

He was the sales manager for Roth Restaurant Supply. He was highly loved and respected by his customers in Southeast Missouri and the tristate area. He, in turn, respected and loved them as well.

Gary liked to cook and eat and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Jan Roth of Jackson; mother, Miriam Roth of Cape Girardeau; three sons, Scott Roth of Cape Girardeau, Brian (Kathy) Fredenburg of Panama City, Florida, and Tim (Christy) Yancey of Jackson; daughter, Mandy (Alex) Niswonger of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Vernon (Janet) Roth Jr. of Cape Girardeau, Richard (Sue) Roth of Jackson and Jeff (Karen) Roth of Jackson; two sisters, Linda (Bob) Perkins of Jackson and Mona Dockins of Oak Ridge; seven grandchildren, Hailey Yancey, Abby Roth, Katie Yancey, Drew Roth, Nate Roth, Bree Roth and Kayden Niswonger; brother-in-law, Danny Monroe of Cape Girardeau; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Roth Sr., and sister, Carolyn Monroe.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Maple United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Jeff Estes officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to Maple United Methodist Church.
