SIKESTON -- Geneva Ruth Griggs, 84, of Ferguson, died Monday, July 24, 1995, at Village North Manor in Florissant.

She was born Oct. 31, 1910, in Tolu, Ky., daughter of William Sherdie and Mary Belle Wright Hale. She and William Loren Griggs were married Dec. 8, 1928, in Detroit, Mich. He died March 31, 1990.

Griggs was a bank clerk at Jefferson Gravois Bank in South St. Louis and Mercantile Bank. She was a member of Richwoods Methodist Church in Sikeston. She lived at Morley from 1975-90.

Survivors include a daughter, Frances Mack of Ferguson, and two grandchildren, Nancy Mack of St. Louis and Kenneth Mack of Chicago.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.

Funeral service will be at noon Wednesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with the Revs. Alma Reynolds and Jerry Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funer-al home from 10 a.m. to service time.
