BENTON, Mo. -- Georgia Mae Graham, 87 of Benton died Friday, June 10, 2016, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Aug. 25, 1928 in Glenallen, Missouri, to Fred Victor and Ruth Aldrich Burns. She married Billy Lee Graham on Jan. 18, 1947. He preceded her in death Feb. 24, 1980...

BENTON, Mo. -- Georgia Mae Graham, 87 of Benton died Friday, June 10, 2016, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 25, 1928 in Glenallen, Missouri, to Fred Victor and Ruth Aldrich Burns. She married Billy Lee Graham on Jan. 18, 1947. He preceded her in death Feb. 24, 1980.

She graduated from Benton High School and was a member of the Sweet Adelines for 12 years. Served as president one year of Kelly High School PTA, was active in LaCroix Methodist Church and was choir director for many years. She served as president of Senior Citizens for two years, where she was a member many years and was a member of the Red Hat Society.

She is survived by a son, Scott Lee (Deborah) Graham of Jackson; a grandson, Jason Ourth of Benton; a granddaughter, Madalyn Graham of Jackson; three great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.

She also was preceded in death by four sisters, Margurite Proctor, Gertrude Schwartz, Aline Compass and Mildred Graham; a granddaughter; and a great-grandson.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at LaCroix Methodist Church in Benton, Missouri.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. J.T. Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery in Morley, Missouri.
