THEBES, Ill. -- Gladys F. Clutts, 80, of Thebes, died Jan. 9, 1993, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 22, 1912. She was a homemaker who lived in Cape Girardeau and Thebes most of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Thebes.

On July 4, 1976, she married Howard Clutts, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Richard Waddell of Saudi Arabia; a daughter, Stella Allen of Wappapello; a sister, Alma Layson of Holiday, Fla.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Thebes with the Rev. Carl Fisher officiating.

Burial will follow at Rose Hill in Thebes.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.
