SCOTT CITY -- Gladys Francis Mabrey, 91, of Scott City died Tuesday, May 4, 1999, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 9, 1907, at Oran, daughter of C.C. and Mary Chaney Myers. She and Lee Adkins Mabrey were married Jan. 2, 1926. He died Sept. 2, 1989.
Mabrey had worked at Ely Walker Co. She was a member of First Baptist Church, and former member of Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include a son, Bill Mabrey of St. Louis; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel. The Rev. Terry Eades will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
