Gloria L. Payne, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Monday, March 27, 1931, in Lutesville, Missouri, to the late Luther "Ike" and Fern Louise Dinsmore Bollinger.
Gloria worked at the Holiday Inn, Magna-Tel and Thorngate companies. Her hobbies included music and dancing, along with her love for animals. She was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, VFW and Elks Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include three daughters, Janet (Mark) Venable and Tamara Macke, both of Jackson, and Debbie Tapley of Burfordville; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a son, Bradley James Langston.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mouth Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
