Hannah Jane Macon, 93, of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, Jan. 21, 1994, at the home of a daughter in Oklahoma City, Okla. She was born Dec. 3, 1900, in Columbia, Tenn., daughter of Henry and Ada Booker. She married Leroy Williams, who died in 1936. She later married Frank Macon in 1948, in Cape Girardeau. Hannah Jane Macon, 93, of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, Jan. 21, 1994, at the home of a daughter in Oklahoma City, Okla.

She was born Dec. 3, 1900, in Columbia, Tenn., daughter of Henry and Ada Booker. She married Leroy Williams, who died in 1936. She later married Frank Macon in 1948, in Cape Girardeau. He died in 1984.

Macon had lived here 50 years. She had done domestic work for Dr. Kinsey and Pensel families. She was a long-time member of St. James AME Church.

Survivors include two sons, Lawrence Williams of Chicago, Josh Williams of Cleveland, Ohio; a daughter, Louise Wren of Oklahoma City; 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. James Church. The Rev. Simon Perkins will officiate, with burial in Fairmount Cemetery.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday.
