Harold Medley went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009.

He was born Sept. 1, 1928, in St. Louis, to Ira and Mary Ann Mansfield.

Medley retired from Agrico Chemical Co. in Florida in 1992 and moved to Scott City.

He served in the Army.

Medley was a member of First Baptist Church of Scott City.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Mitzie Medley; six daughters, Pat Criswell of Florida, Carolyn Raska of Indiana, Barbara East of Georgia, Janet McClenithan of Cape Girardeau, Debra Wilson and Crystal Crawford Hoke of Scott City; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Irene Gray of Belleville, Ill.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Rev. Gregg Fina will officiate, with full military honors by Missouri Honors Team.
