Harold Edward Seabaugh, 78, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, at Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau. He was born July 30, 1943, in Cape Girardeau and grew up in Advance, Missouri. Harold was the son of the late Pyrtle and Ruth Masters Seabaugh. Harold Edward Seabaugh, 78, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, at Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 30, 1943, in Cape Girardeau and grew up in Advance, Missouri. Harold was the son of the late Pyrtle and Ruth Masters Seabaugh. He and Linda Wolfe were married July 17, 1970, in Cape Girardeau.

Harold attended Southeast Missouri State University and then served in the U.S. Army from 1964 until 1967. He worked as a manager for Hart Shaffner Marx and then went on to work 26 years for Noranda Aluminum as a bench chemist. His hobbies included golf and woodworking. He was a member of Elks Lodge. Harold always enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau; four children, Jennifer Seabaugh of Cincinnati, Ryan (Laura) Seabaugh of Holts Summit, Missouri, Ann Schmitz of Miami and Maria Palmeri of Cincinnati; granddaughters, Althea and Renawyn Seabaugh; brother, Pyrtle (Joan) Seabaugh Jr. of Phoenix; sisters, Kay (Ronnie) Thiele of St. Louis, Marlene (Edgar) Schott of O'Fallon, Missouri, and Mary Francis of West Palm Beach, Florida.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Annie Johnson and Delores Krauss; and brothers, Douglas and George Seabaugh.

A private family memorial service with military honors will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent in memory of Harold to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
