Helen Voneda Morrison, 79, of Jackson passed away Monday, March 9, 2020, at her home.

She was born June 17, 1940, in Belleville, Illinois, daughter of Oliver and Kathleen Oriley Friess. She and Lynn Morrison were united in marriage Aug. 30, 1958.

Helen worked for H&R Block as a tax preparer and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson.

She is survived by her husband, Lynn Morrison; sons, William (Beverly) Morrison of Texas and Charlie Morrison of Jackson; daughter, Chris Trierweiler of Jackson; grandchildren, Casey Trierweiler, Dustin Trierweiler, Erica Camp, David Camp and Matthew (Kristie) Morrison; and great-granddaughter, Hannah Morrison.

Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Matthew Morrison; daughter, Stephanie Camp; son-in-law, Brian Trierweiler; brother, David Friess; and sisters, Patricia Howard, Kay Smith, Mary Johnston and Barbara Morrison.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson.

Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Harth officiating.

A meal will follow the service at the Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Missouri, is in charge of services.
