CHAFFEE -- Helen Patricia Cunningham, 85, of Chaffee died Sunday, Dec. 27, 1992, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born Aug. 6, 1907, at St. Louis, the daughter of Peter and Blanch Green McLoon. On Feb. 14, 1931, she married William Paul Cunningham, who preceded her in death March 7, 1978.

She received a bachelor's degree in education from Southeast Missouri State College in Cape Girardeau and a master's degree in education from the University of Missouri at Columbia. She is a former teacher in the East Prairie school district and retired as an interviewer for the Texas Employment Agency in Dallas. She also was of the Catholic denomination.

Survivors include a nephew, Charles Cunningham of Chaffee, two great-nieces and four great-nephews.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Richard Combs will officiate, and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell.
