ANNA, Ill. -- Helen C. Treece, 71, of Anna died Saturday, April 3, 2004, at her home.
She was born March 28, 1933, near Anna, daughter of Charles Ford and Anna Hubach Cates. She and Kenneth C. Treece were married June 18, 1951, at Jonesboro, Ill.
Treece was a caregiver for Home Health Care. She was a member of the Anna Church of the Nazarene and the Anna American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Deloris Pribble of Anna, Teresa Goddard of Mount Pleasant, Ill.; two sons, Kenneth Treece of Janesville, Minn., Jack Treece of Sparta, Ill.; three brothers, Gaylon Cates of Cobden, Ill., Ed Cates of Anna, Homer Cates of Fayetteville, N.C.; two sisters, Edna Poole of East Cape, Ill., Ginny Mears of Herrin, Ill.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, an infant daughter and a grandson.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendlman Funeral Home at Anna.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Dr. Richard Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Casper Cemetery.
