Helen Jean West, 63, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, at her home. She was born April 9, 1944, in Marked Tree, Ark., daughter of Chalmer and Pearl Williams West. Survivors include a son, Keith West of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Sheryl Carothers of Peoria, Ariz., Angela Baker of Omaha, Neb.; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren...

Helen Jean West, 63, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, at her home.

She was born April 9, 1944, in Marked Tree, Ark., daughter of Chalmer and Pearl Williams West.

Survivors include a son, Keith West of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Sheryl Carothers of Peoria, Ariz., Angela Baker of Omaha, Neb.; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time Saturday at West End Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Chester Yarber officiating. Burial will be in Sunset of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.

Williams Funeral Home in Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
