DEXTER -- Herschel Elles, 63, of Dexter died Wednesday, March 29, 2000, at the home of a daughter. He was born May 12, 1936, in Salem, son of Harvey Lee and Virgie Mowery Elles. Survivors include a son, Randy Elles of Bernie; three daughters, LaDonna Thacker of Portageville, Sandra Dowdy of Greenville, Paula Still of Dexter; a brother, Doyle Elles of Reynolds; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Graveside service will be at noon Saturday at Stone Hill Cemetery near Bunker, with Ken Fiebelman officiating.
