Hilbert Henry "Hib" Kraemer, 96, of St. Charles, Missouri, died Thursday, April 30, 2015, at the family home. He was born May 5, 1918, in the Hanover community of Cape Girardeau County. He and Gladys Nussbaum were married Feb. 3, 1942. They lived and farmed in the Burfordville area before moving to St. Louis, and then to St. Charles in the late 1950s...

Hilbert Henry "Hib" Kraemer, 96, of St. Charles, Missouri, died Thursday, April 30, 2015, at the family home.

He was born May 5, 1918, in the Hanover community of Cape Girardeau County. He and Gladys Nussbaum were married Feb. 3, 1942.

They lived and farmed in the Burfordville area before moving to St. Louis, and then to St. Charles in the late 1950s.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys of the home; a son, Michael (Pamela) Kraemer of St. Charles; two daughters, Joyce Horky (Ken) Moore of Burfordville and Brenda (James) Haar of Maryland Heights, Missouri; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends.

The funeral was Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Charles.

Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles was in charge of arrangements.
