BELL CITY -- Howard Dee Voss, 78, of Bell City died Wednesday, May 19, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 11, 1920, in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., son of Dewey and Carrie South Voss. He and Juanita Crosno were married Jan. 17, 1942. She died Nov. 9, 1994.

Voss farmed in the Bell City are prior to retiring. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Sikeston.

Survivors include a son, Howard Voss of Bell City; a daughter, Karen Fitzwater of Hollister; a brother, Wayne Voss of Advance; a sister, Maxine Morgan of West Pueblo, Colo.; and a grandson.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Kriete officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
