ANNA, Ill. -- Hubert R. Hearn, 86, of Anna, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 1995, at Union County Hospital.

He was born Sept. 11, 1908, in Thompsonville, son of Charles N. and Alice Williams Hearn. He and Lillian Pulley were married in October 1933. She died April 5, 1985.

Hearn was a retired building contractor in the Marion area, and also farmed. He was a member of Anna American Legion Post, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include two daughters, Myrna Olsen of Rochester, Minn., Phyllis Dunn of Marion; three sons, Charles Hearn of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Larry Hearn of Mt. Zion, Ronald Hearn of West Frankfort, Ill.; a sister, Muriel Fletcher of Marion; 14 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister and brother.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 5-8 p.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Darnell officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens at Energy.
