JACKSON -- Ida H. Oberbeck, 83, of Jackson died Monday Sept. 30, 1996, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 26, 1913, in Gordonville, daughter of the late John and Anna Kester Hanschen. She married Fred Oberbeck on March 18, 1938, in Jackson. He survives.

She was a former employee of Sugar Creek Creamery in Jackson, a deputy county clerk from 1950 to 1960 and worked at Cauble and Field for 25 years before retiring in 1985.

She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Millikan of Sedgewickville, three granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call between 8 and 11 a.m. today at the Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel in Jackson. Funeral services will be at 11 at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Jeffrey Sippy officiating. Burial will be at Russell Heights Cemetery.
