TAMMS, Ill. -- Ida May Mayberry, 89, of Tamms died Wednesday, April 10, 2002, at Countryside Health Care in Bardwell, Ky.

She was born Feb. 10, 1913, in Pulaski, Ill., daughter of William Edward and Maude Bearden Farnsworth. She married Paul L. Mayberry, who died June 16, 1993.

Mayberry had worked at Lowenbaum Factory in Mounds, Ill., and at the Shriners Hospital in Chicago. She was a member of Elco Baptist Church in Elco, Ill., and former member of Tamms Senior Citizens.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Plymale of Clovis, Calif.; two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms from 5-8 p.m. Monday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Revs. Larry Miller and Jay Franklin will officiate. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery west of Villa Ridge, Ill.
