JACKSON -- Irma Edwards, 84, of Mission, Kan., died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 1992, at a nursing home in Mission. She was born Dec. 9, 1907, at Jackson, daughter of Henry C. and Mary Emelia Zeller Sievers. JACKSON -- Irma Edwards, 84, of Mission, Kan., died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 1992, at a nursing home in Mission.

She was born Dec. 9, 1907, at Jackson, daughter of Henry C. and Mary Emelia Zeller Sievers. She and Ray Edwards were married in 1934.

Edwards attended Southeast Missouri State University, and was an elementary teacher in area schools several years.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Mark and Larry Edwards of Littleton, Colo.; a sister, Helen Engel of Littleton; two brothers, Manford Sievers of Hillsboro, Ill., Ray Sievers of Jackson; two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at D.W. Newcomer Funeral Home in Mission. Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Gardens in Mission.
