KELSO, Mo. -- Iva Jewell Tucker, 70, of Kelso died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 26, 1931, in Illmo, Mo., daughter of Eugene and Bessie Irene Stone Burton. She and Robert L. Tucker were married May 9, 1981, in Scott City, Mo.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Terry Burton of Granite City, Ill., Leslie Burton of Dexter, Mo., and Jody Ray Burton of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Lana Melton of Charleston, S.C.; one stepson, Bobby Lee Tucker of St. Charles, Mo.; one stepdaughter, Karen Coughlin of Jonesboro, La.; one brother, Jim Burton of Scott City; three sisters, Maxine Messmer of Kelso, Margie Schlosser of Scott City and Barbara Garrett of Benton, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Terry Eades officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
