OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Ivan Dale Tate, 55, of Raleigh, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 1995, at his home.
He was born Nov. 5, 1939, in Raleigh, son of G.I. and Madge Tucker Tate.
Tate was a member of Long Branch Church in Galatia, member and past master of Galatia Masonic Lodge 684, and served on the Long Branch Township Board of Trustees.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian; two sons, Randy Tate of Olive Branch, Steve Mitchell of Thompsonville; three daughters, Tammy Strong of Newport News, Va., Ileshen Tate of Shawneetown, Robin Russell of Eldorado, and 10 grandchildren.
Friends may call at Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia from 5-9 p.m. today. Masonic service will be at 7.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Dr. James Baldwin and the Rev. John Gilmore officiating. Burial will be in Tates Chapel Cemetery in Galatia.
