Memorial service for Jack C. Frissell of Jefferson City will be held at 11 a.m. today at First United Methodist Church in Jefferson City, with the Rev. Dorothy Lairmore officiating. Graveside service will be at 5:30 p.m. today at Deer Ridge Cemetery near LaBelle, with the Rev. Wayne Carrigan officiating.
Coder Funeral Home in LaBelle is in charge of arrangements.
Frissell, 70, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 1995, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.
He was born July 27, 1925, in Cape Girardeau, son of Harry and Leona Cunningham Frissell. He and Jenella Clapp were married Sept. 11, 1949, at Deer Ridge.
Frissell was an engineer with Missouri State Highway Department 35 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Jefferson City. They moved to Jefferson City eight years ago from Macon. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Becky Schell of Jackson, Wyo., Jeanne Newman of Los Angeles, Calif.; a brother, Harry Frissell of Beaumont, Texas, and three grandchildren.
