James M. Coulter, 60, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, May 9, 2005, at Heartland Care and Rehab. He was born March 31, 1945, at Farmington, Mo., son of James A. and Beatrice Vivian Ramsey Coulter. James M. Coulter, 60, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, May 9, 2005, at Heartland Care and Rehab.

He was born March 31, 1945, at Farmington, Mo., son of James A. and Beatrice Vivian Ramsey Coulter.

Coulter was a graduate of Farmington High School. He worked at Metro East Manufacturing in Belleville, Ill. He moved to Cape Girardeau 18 years ago from Belleville and operated a window cleaning business, and was a hospital orderly. He then was a certified nurse assistant at Heartland Care and Rehab. He was a member of Worldwide Church of God in Belleville and Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include his father of Freeburg, Ill.; three brothers, Thomas Coulter of Marissa, Ill., Gene Coulter of Hecker, Ill., Dean Coulter of Mascoutah, Ill.; three sisters, Linda Cudd of Lawrenceville, Ga., Brenda DuFrenne of Lubbock, Texas, and Pam Nickles of Smithton, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister.

There is no visitation.

The funeral will be private. Burial will be in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery at Farmington.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
