Memorial service for James C. Stone Sr. of Cape Girardeau will be held at 1 p.m. today at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson. The Rev. John Ferguson will officiate.
Stone, 67, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 21, 1932, at Grassy, son of H.E. and Blanche Conrad Stone.
Stone had been a line worker at the former International Shoe Co. in Chaffee.
Survivors include a son, Jim Stone of Marble Hill; a daughter, Kimberly Kennedy of Chaffee; five brothers, Leon Stone of Jackson, Bill Stone of Millersville, Donald Stone of Daisy, Roy Stone of Cape Girardeau, Jackie Stone of Oak Ridge; two sisters, Velma Dobbs of Chaffee, Wanda Sparks of Jackson; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
