ESSEX -- Funeral for Janice Lou Fowler of St. Charles will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Doyle Corlew will officiate, with burial in Essex Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Fowler, 52, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 1998, at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles.
She was born Aug. 16, 1946, in Essex, daughter of Elvis and Gladys Irby Reynolds. She married Joe Fowler.
Fowler lived in St. Charles many years.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Darren Fowler of New Straitsville, Ohio; five sisters, Lois Mitchell of Sheridan, Ark., Helen McBride of Dexter, Faye Bunch of Bernie, Sue Dock of Malden, Yvonne Hopkins of Spring Hill, Kan.; a brother, Houston Reynolds of Elgin, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
