MOUND CITY, Ill. -- Jarlene Hannan Little, 85, of Mound City died Thursday, Aug. 14, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Aug. 23, 1911, in Union City, Tenn., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Castle. She first married Edward Hannan, then Imon Goins, and Louis Little. All preceded her in death...

MOUND CITY, Ill. -- Jarlene Hannan Little, 85, of Mound City died Thursday, Aug. 14, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 23, 1911, in Union City, Tenn., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Castle. She first married Edward Hannan, then Imon Goins, and Louis Little. All preceded her in death.

Little had been a nurse aide at the former St. Mary's Hospital in Cairo. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mound City, St. Mary's Sodality, and VFW Auxiliary in Metropolis.

Survivors include a son, Donnie Hannan of Paducah, Ky.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by four sons.

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Mound City after 5 p.m. Monday. Parish prayers will be at 7.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Church, with the Rev. Bill McGhee officiating. Burial will be in St. Catherine's Cemetery in Grand Chain.
