Jean Ezzell, 89, of the Whitewater community, passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2020, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 16, 1930, in Bollinger County, Missouri, daughter of L.B. and June Henderson Burton. She and Charles Ezzell were united in marriage Nov. 11, 1950, and he passed away Nov. 18, 2018.
Jean was a homemaker, wonderful caretaker and a member of Burfordville Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Barbara, John (Donna), Charles Thomas and David (Lori); and grandchildren, Mark, Julie, Matthew and Libby.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; parents; daughter, Nancy; brothers, Deuel, Olen and Owen; and sisters, Wilma, Doyle and Melba.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Missouri.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Marvin Wormington officiating. Interment will take place in Bollinger County Memorial Park, near Marble Hill.
