CLARKTON, Mo. -- Jeffery Wayne McDavid, 35, of Clarkton died Friday, Feb. 28, 2003, in Clarkton.

He was born April 14, 1967, in Paris, Tenn., son of Donald Richard and Patricia Crowe McDavid. He and Dawn "Shelly" Simpson were married May 26, 2000, in Piggott, Ark.

He had worked at Plastene Supply in Portageville, Mo.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Brett Allen McDavid of Leoma, Tenn.; a daughter, Laura Elizabeth McDavid of Leoma; his parents of Portageville; a stepson, Kyle Mann of Clarkton; a stepdaughter, Whitney Mann of Clarkton; his grandfather, Herbert Brewer of Imboden, Ark.; two brothers, Andrew McDavid of Jackson, Tenn., Christopher McDavid of Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Delisle Funeral Home in Portageville with the Rev. Jack Allen officiating. Burial will be in Standfield Cemetery.
