Jeffrey S. Followell, 33, of Dutchtown died Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at BJC Hospital in St. Louis. He was born Jan. 11, 1972, in Cape Girardeau, son of J. Mike and Vickie Anderson Followell. He and Jaime Price were married March 28, 2004. From 1990 to 1996, Followell worked in the sanitation department for the City of Jackson. Jeffrey S. Followell, 33, of Dutchtown died Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at BJC Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Jan. 11, 1972, in Cape Girardeau, son of J. Mike and Vickie Anderson Followell. He and Jaime Price were married March 28, 2004.

From 1990 to 1996, Followell worked in the sanitation department for the City of Jackson. He then worked several years at Precision Painting in Cape Girardeau and was then self-employed in residential and commercial painting.

Baptized in 1984, he was a member of Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Cape Girardeau and was active in the Cape Girardeau softball and football leagues.

Loving survivors include his wife, Jaime, and daughter Samantha of Dutchtown; his mother, Vickie Thompson and husband Harry of Jackson; a brother, Jay M. Followell of Union, Mo.; a father-in-law, Robert Price of Payton, Mo.; a mother-in-law, Karen Seyer and husband Jeff of Fruitland.

He was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Followell and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Anderson; and a nephew, Jordan Followell.

Friends may call Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral service will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Henrichs officiating.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Jeff Followell family.
