Jerry Lawrence, 78, of Fort Smith, Ark., passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013, in Fort Smith.

She was born Nov. 3, 1934, in Whitewater, to John and Fannie Slover Crader.

Jerry is survived by a daughter, Karen (Kevin) Lindsey of Fort Smith; a son, Robert D. (Teresa) Lawrence of St. Charles, Mo.; two sisters, Margaret McClanahan of Collinsville, Ill., and Pauline Irvine of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren, Melanie Haynes of O'Fallon, Mo., Kurt Lindsey of Bentonville, Ark., Kody Lindsey of San Diego and Benjamin Lawrence of St. Charles; and two great-grandchildren, Leo and Ellie Haynes of O'Fallon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lawrence; a daughter, Ellen Kay Lawrence; and a brother, Eugene Crader of Cape Girardeau.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time May 11 at Concord Trinity United Methodist Church, 5275 S. Lindbergh Blvd. in St. Louis.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. May 11 at the church.

Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.
