BENTON -- Jessie Faye Hutson, 87, Benton Route 1, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 21, 1910, in McLeansboro, Ill., daughter of Jesse M. and Opal E. Barron Wheeler. She and Everett D. Hutson were married June 14, 1930, in Charleston. He died April 8, 1971.

Survivors include two sons, Edward and Paul Hutson of Benton; two daughters, Marjory Sisk of Charleston, Carolyn Hutson of Benton; a sister, Leona Chiles of Affton; three half brothers, Monroe Wheeler of Hamilton, Ala., Benny Wheeler of Scott City, Donald Wheeler of Cape Girardeau; a half sister, Norma Foy of Affton; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, three brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton after 5 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Unity Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dale Huff officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery at Charleston.
